Miles More HGV Driver’s Club
Members’ Terms and Conditions


For the first time, Miles More Media Limited (“Miles More”) puts its HGV driver members (the “Members”) at the centre of a club for HGV drivers only (the “Club”) to offer them benefits and offers for work and everyday life. The Club provides a unique job search site for Members to forward their careers or simply to keep pace with pay and terms in their area of work. The Club forum offers the opportunity for Members to share issues and gain insight from each other and industry experts on hot topics relating to driving, transport and logistics. There is no need to hop from site to site as the Club also provides news, weather and traffic hotspot updates 24 hours a day.

  1. These Terms
    • These terms and conditions (the “Terms”) together with the Site Usage Policy set out the terms under which Members may use the Club’s website at www.milesmoremedia.com (“Site”), which includes access to a job search facility, forum, insights and news, weather and traffic updates. Please read the Terms carefully. If you proceed to use the Site, you will be deemed to have accepted the Terms and, together with the Site Usage Policy, they will form the contract between you and Miles More in relation to your membership of the Club and use of the Site.  If you do not accept the Terms, you should not proceed to use the Site.
    • You agree and acknowledge that your access of the Site and membership of the Club is for the purposes of your trade, business or profession and not for consumer use.
    • We amend these Terms from time to time. Every time you wish to use the Site, please check the Terms to ensure you understand the terms that apply at that time. These terms were most recently updated on 22/10/2018.

  2. Rules and Guidelines for Members

    Members are required to follow the Club’s Rules and Guidelines below.

    • Rules
      As a Member of the Club you must:
      • not accept invitations to apply for jobs or offers from the Site unless you are happy to release your contact details to the advertiser. Our Privacy Policy sets out how we use your contact details and other personal data.
      • comply with the Site Usage Policy.
      • not use the Club’s brand, logo or associated imagery or intellectual property at any time either directly or indirectly.
      • not reveal your log in and password details to anyone else.
      • not allow anyone else to use your password or log in details.
      • not reproduce, duplicate, copy or re-sell any part of the Site.
      • not access without authority, interfere with, damage or disrupt any part of our Site, any equipment or network on which our Site is stored, or any software used in the provision of our Site.

  3. Membership
    • Membership fees must be paid via our secure payments provider in advance of Members using the Site or being part of the Club unless in the case of a free trial, in which case the Site can be accessed for free for the duration of the free trial period only. At the end of any free trial period access to the Club and the Site will be withdrawn unless and until the fee is paid and if no fee is paid then your access to the Club and membership account will be deleted. Any free trial period is at the discretion of Miles More and only one free trial period is applicable to each Member.
    • No access to the Site or membership of the Club will be granted without payment.
    • Membership fees are non-refundable and payable annually in advance.
    • Membership is non-transferable. You must be over 18 years of age to become a Member.
    • Membership will be renewed automatically annually and we will provide you with several reminders in good time. Renewal payments will be taken automatically from the card used to pay for your initial payment.
    • Miles More reserves the right to review membership fees at any time to ensure the quality of the Club. If a renewal payment will be an increase upon the previous year’s membership fees, we will tell you in advance of the renewal date.
    • If you cancel your membership we will make your membership account available on a limited basis for a period of four weeks to enable you to change your mind and then will delete all data in relation to your account.
    • You can cancel the automatic renewal of your membership at any time by signing into your account by emailing us at systemadministrator@milesmoremedia.com.
  4. Our rights to end the contract
    • We may terminate or suspend your membership of the Club and access to the Site if you do not comply with these Terms or the Site Usage Policy.
    • We may suspend or revoke membership of the Club as a result of any breach or abuse of a free trial period.
  5. Limitation of Liability
    • Miles More does everything reasonably possible to ensure the Club is a safe and secure platform for its Members. It cannot guarantee that the Site will always operate without disruption, delay or imperfections.
    • Miles More’s role is to connect its Members with job and offer advertisers. It takes no responsibility for delivery of those roles or service/product offerings whatsoever or for any communications or information between third parties and Members. We will of course deal with any advertiser reported by our Members for being misleading or inappropriate.
    • Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits the liability of Miles More for death or personal injury caused by Miles More’s negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any matter for which it would be illegal for Miles More to exclude or limit liability.
    • Subject to clause 5.3:
      • Miles More’s total liability in contract, tort, misrepresentation, restitution or otherwise arising in connection with the performance or contemplated performance of its obligations shall be limited to the annual membership fee you have paid for the year in which the claim arose; and
      • Miles More shall not be liable to you for any economic loss, loss of profit, loss of business or otherwise, whether direct, indirect or consequential, which arise out of or in connection with the Site or your membership of the Club.
  6. Data protection
    Our Privacy Policy sets out the basis on which any personal data we obtain from you will be processed. By accepting these Terms, you agree to the Privacy Policy.

  7. Other important terms
    • If any provision of these Terms is or becomes invalid, illegal or unenforceable, it shall be deemed deleted, but that shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the other Terms.
    • Neither Miles More nor you intend that any of these Terms will be enforceable by any person that is not a party to the Terms other than someone to whom Miles More transfers its rights under these Terms.
    • Failure or delay by Miles More in enforcing its rights under these Terms or by law will not be construed as a waiver of any such rights.
    • These Terms are subject to English law, and the English courts will have jurisdiction in respect of any dispute arising from these Terms or your membership of the Club or use of the Site.
